I'm a W2 employee, and was asked to fill out a PUA app (I thought this only applied to independent contractors and self employed) so I put no I thought this wasn't applicable to me? @NYSLabor

@NYSLabor Lady at your office just said “I cannot help you I can take your name and information what don’t you understand I will hang up on you didn’t you press 1 for english.” After I waited 3.5 hours on hold. This is how unemployed NY’s are treated? Ashamed.

To add, yes she hung up on me. Being laid off and trying to contact a representative for months, this encounter had me in tears. Truly disrespectful and rude. Even though you probably won’t see this, you are my role model and I hope others don’t encounter the same interaction.

@NYSLabor for the first time I am disappointed to be a New Yorker. I respect the Cuomos dearly and thought their staff valued their people and are respectful especially to those struggling during this pandemic. Guess not.

@NYSLabor I know people are very annoyed as their apps have been pending. Trying to remain patient after trying this number, dating at 4,098 times in 3 weeks, and no response. Please if there is anything you can do to assist I would appreciate any help.@NYGovCuomo
