I absolutely adore my students and love teaching! I am a teacher who loves motivating students to read and write. Community and mentoring are also my passion.

SO proud of Jared for getting accepted into the Global Impact Academy!! This is going to be a GREAT fit for him because he is such a problem solver and critical thinker. We are excited! #momentofimpact

Absolutely and it shows that you are relatable

I was always taught that Ts should dress “professionally” in order to gain respect from students & parents. I’ve been breaking this rule as a Principal since Day 1. Teachers can wear jeans & tennis shoes daily bcz respect is earned in how you treat people. That’s professionalism.

@a1_teach @OakleyTigers @APJordan12 This is so awesome! Love it!

I just saw my kiddos for the first time in over a week during our class meeting using Zoom! Now I'm feeling emotional because I truly miss them. Their smiles and laughter brought me so much joy. #FCSrising @OakleyTigers @EstellaBCook

As a teacher, I was always slightly jealous of my friends who bragged about working from home. Well now it's my turn! LOL (Pic from Day 2 of Telework) #FCSrising @OakleyTigers

My students never know what my classroom is going to be! They walked in on Thursday and it was a bakery. They reviewed main idea and previewed the next standard about order and sequence. @EstellaBCook @OakleyTigers #oakleytigersroar

Last week my class was Starbooks, this week it is a Hospital. We had SO much fun doing text feature surgery (my future doctors and surgeons) . Our non-fiction texts were about the circulatory system and the heart. They learned 2 things at once. @OakleyTigers
