"It’s increasingly difficult to even discuss social media without veering into cliche. To tackle the subject artistically in a manner that feels novel and worthwhile is even harder, and Taylor Ayling’s Watch Me Die manages just that." - @bristol247's review is up!
Not sure who needs to hear this but…
You don’t need to be at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, live in London, have won awards, be associates at venues or have been awarded funding to be brilliant theatre makers.
Making your work and showing it to audiences, that’s success.
Absolutely amazing scenes in West Street in Old Market with hundreds of counter-protesters already out in advance of a planned far-right gathering.
Follow this thread as I attempt to make sense of events as the evening unfolds.
So confused about everything at the moment, how do people let hate win them over without reason.
Big ups to Bristol though amazing to see so much love and community come through in peace to show what you believe in!
Can highly recommend working with this lovely team! (Xmas 2022 I was AD on Snow Queen at TFT)
Happy to chat with any directors who are thinking of applying ❤️
4 for Greens, Corbyn holding in Islington and even though I don’t trust Starmer one bit, I think you have to take the win and smile knowing a lot of selfish pricks lost their jobs last night!
Saw #Elsinore by @BSOActing’s Theatre Making students dir by @TBrennanBristol last night. Masterclass and innovation on the term: Make Shakespeare relevant. Playful chaotic energy that was bursting with life and made me think about the Elsinore’ in my mind that shaped me. GO SEE!
Thank you @SpotlightUK for a lush evening mingling with some awesome people from the industry! Was fascinating to take a look in the new studios and talk shop with like-minded creatives :)
That’s why at RAM theatre festival I’ve dedicated two slots to young rural and w/class artists to develop a new show with mentorship from me and @k_pasco :D
Playwrights Anna Jordan (@WAPtheatre) and Morgan Lloyd Malcolm are among industry figures backing calls for more scratch nights, mentorship schemes and "another Vault Festival" in a bid to address a "broken pipeline" in the sector.

Just watched Child of Science by @dunster_matthew @ @BristolOldVic. A story nt about a genius or a martyr, but rather the sticky and complex web of dizzying contingencies that lead human progress. Loved how science was honoured whilst leaving space for the magic of conception!

Watched sweet science of bruising @ @BSOActing 2day. Fantastic acting by students, beautiful set and costume and gripping story about the delicate balance of sacrifice in pursuit of self actualisation and equality!
Thank you @dunster_matthew for the pint and for the chat! And thank you @BristolOldVic for hosting. Felt brilliant being connected to other amazing people in the industry and airing our dreams frustrations and hopes for the future! 🤘
At Studio 18 we're making a theatre performance for RAM fete music festival. It's going to be based on The Bacchae (an ancient Greek play) and we need YOU to do it!
If you want to be in a frenetic ritualistic techno-cult like flash mob, let me know!

We have some big news about our future plans...
We’re so excited to share that directors Caitriona Shoobridge and Stef O’Driscoll will be joining the team as Co-Creative Leads.
They'll be helping to shape a major new project called Fair Play, which we aim to launch in 2025.
