@MITGradUnion Admin's claim also ignores the fact that many are subject to alternating cycles of fellowship-TA/RA, which can change on a semester basis. A grad on fellowship during the voting period might be assigned a TAship the very next semester, but they would be denied a voice! (1/2)

It appears COVID-19 is offering new ways for zoos/aquariums to provide enrichment activities for display animals. Penguins at the Shedd are being allowed to "express their natural behaviors" by exploring (human) environments beyond their enclosures. #zoohistory#envhist
