Me when someone cries about something valid on tv: “OH MY GOD stop being such a drama queen.”
Me when I drop a cherry tomato on the floor: “WOW nothing can ever just go well for me. MY LIFE IS BULLSHIT.”
Today, I get to watch UP on my sectional with my toddler & feel my baby kick in my 4 bedroom house, with our beautiful backyard and my new truck In the driveway. We’ve got choices for lunch, we’ve got a full fridge and pantry and our bills are all paid.
BUT we put in the hours, we both went to school, eventually moving between different roommate situations until we worked our way into where we are now.
We literally went from living in a basement, and then an RV, then a 700 sq ft house w/ 4 people to finally get here. & prior to meeting him I was living in a fucking homeless shelter apartment while I worked and went to college.. doing my best to care for my daughter.
There’s nothing glamorous about never seeing your husband, eating dinner alone, working 60 hour weeks and coming home tired and sore just to get up at 4 am and do it all over again. It takes a lot of sacrifice to maintain a comfortable household.
Listen my husband works 7 days a week for the 6 figure income he proudly makes. I’m a in college for my 2nd degree, raising 2 kids, while 6 mo. Pregnant. Why do people this that just because you live comfortably financially, that everything is easy for you?
@ComcastCares
#mobile_Care scheduled an apt for Monday at 2pm, got a notification that a tech would be at my house today.. called to reschedule again to Monday at 2pm and now my time in the app shows Monday at 8am. Why can nothing just go smoothly with you guys?
I seriously just read a comment where a woman claimed that planned parenthood saves aborted fetuses and sells them into sex trafficking. I’m just so confused RN.
