I am rapidly watching my friends and family realize that the average person's beliefs are pure emotivism and entirely baseless. They should be treated like babies crying: indicative that something is wrong, but an utterly worthless identification of the problem to be ignored
I think @Liv_Agar is top 10 attractive women alive rn and we aren't learning from it right now, we aren't cherishing it enough before the meteors take us in 2027
Since we know that Mangione listened to Hellfire from Arcane 2, do we think that he hyped himself up on the big day by listening to it and singing to himself "it's judgement day and no one gets out alive"?
What you just said it like saying that clouds are caused by storms. a fallacy literally means that you cant think that
"Well I still believe it." (End of convo)
We need like basic philosophy/logic classes in school because ignoring our progress on developing logic will kill us
In an argument the other day:
"...which is why I believe that to this day. It's just gonna get worse."
Me: that's like the definition of a slippery slope fallacy man
"Oh yeah sure so that makes it wrong? Idc if it's a fallacy."
No like, your logic is flawed.
Like literally that's not how thoughts and concepts in the world flow into each other via causality. That's what a fallacy is.
"Alright well I still believe it even if you call it a fallacy or whatever."
No i. you cant believe it. it's not causally valid. like. it's.
