I really don’t get people being so harsh about the Avatar Series. I’m a huge fan of the cartoon and I’ve probably watched it at least 6 times all the way through. I think the live action is pretty damn good. I’m enjoying it.

I’m very much looking forward to being my own artist and seeing what I can do when I’m allowed to breathe and believe in myself. At the end of the day you can say you don’t give a fuck about what others say but for me after so much of it it did really dig at me.

And I can’t tell you how damaging and awful it is to deal with years of being told you’re not talented enough, you don’t have any worthwhile skills, etc etc when it comes to your craft and what you’re passionate about. Turning everything into a weird elite competition sucks.
