I think it was the last game I went to with my Papa. We went to the day game of the double header and he made his mlb debut/only royals game played. I remember his dad was the Red Sox Manager at the time and he made the trip to watch his son’s debut.

@Drizzy_Dru29 I thought that too and then you have Misner, Massey, & Jensen available to PH for Thomas if you don’t like the matchup later. Tolbert could have pinch ran for Jac which would have made more sense. Who knows, could’ve ended up the same but definitely felt like a clear mismanage.

@BHIndepMO Actually a great stadium. Ideally the Royals would incorporate a retractable roof at their new ballpark. Being at the K or d-town won’t change attendance. If the team is good, fans will go to either location. Only thing that would get more people to the ballpark midsummer is AC.
