I really try to tell folks that I don’t know how to emotionally regulate. That’s why I choose not to acknowledge my emotions a lot of the times and my friends don’t get “soft” Taylor. That version of me feels so fucking deeply that it scares me. A disconnected me is much better.
Having a moment where I remember in high school. Lo was talking and someone interrupted her and she just got quiet as they talked and I looked at her and just went, “I’m listening.” To let her know, I at least wanted to hear what she had to say. Don’t know why that just popped up
when they get upset at you for explaining your feelings and suddenly you are 13 again sobbing into your hands over the fact that you were just trying to communicate and instead were made into a problem for having emotions
You can literally feel it in your soul when it's TIME. time to move on from people, time to make a change in your life, time to get rid of unhealthy habits, time to want MORE for yourself. At some point, you'll just KNOW. That's your call.
Call me childish but i like to do kid stuff when it comes to my relationship. I like to paint, color, play games, matching pajamas, movie nights with snacks if you are not having fun in your relationship then what's the point of having a relationship.
