I hate how yall discredit the casts when the trailer hasn’t even come out yet. I hate how you think it’s miscasting because apparently N is not “small” nor “soft” or T “does not look smart/tough” -.- search up videos and watch their series yall just embarassing yourselves
I remember back when I heard that there was gonna be a PH adaptation for DOTS, I didn't like the idea knowing that it wouldn't be as good as that of the original. The original felt enough and perfect for me. I didn't want a remake.
So guess what I did? I ignored it.
fact 1: you can keep being a cherry magic jpn fan without perceiving/watching/even acknowledging the thai adaptation. magkaiba sila beh
fact 2: you have biases against thai bls/gmmtv/tn that’s why you’re crying screaming throwing up when they’ve only released one fucking photo
The strangest aspect of this hate surrounding the Thai version of Cherry Magic is the fetishistic approach to m/m pairings. One must be short, small, and dainty, i.e. more feminine, and the other tall and manly. You people value heteronormative characteristics over anything.
bakit daw magp-play sila ng characters na malayo sa personality nila irl???????? gago parang ayaw nga ng mga faves mo sa isa't-isa sa totoong buhay pero kinasal naman sila sa series eh
found out i'm actually talkative, depending on who it is i'm talking to. while most people talk to me with so much awkwardness i spend the whole time thinking of ways to escape the conversation, there are these few individuals who can just make me talk too much
this is a good point. clearly gmmtv got the rights to the original manga not the japanese show itself. the thai version is gonna be its own interpretation of the *original* source material, not the japanese show.
Cherry Magic purists will have to either ignore or accept the Thai adaptation and understand that the even Japanese version is just an adaptation of the manga. It's not gospel. Shakespeare got adapted into a movie starring Amanda Bynes. You're in no place to act high and mighty.
