@oasishealthapp I like to batch prep meat in the oven every weekend for the work week. I’ve used parchment paper for years, but I’m willing to change what I do if there’s a healthier method.
@ThorTorrens I’ve also heard the theory that eye boogers are one way that the body detoxes oxalates. Do you eat low vitamin A but high oxalate foods? I haven’t done well with @NutriDetect’s recommendation of white beans when the beans are high oxalate. I’m still sorting through it all.
@LaLaLisaCooper@DrJordanBCooper On his podcast for your book in 2024, you made a side comment about Gerhard’s Sacred Meditations. And I’m so glad you did. Our congregation incorporated them into our Wednesday Lenten vespers last year. I’m looking forward to the gems that come from this episode, too!
@Pat_Stedman Does this imply that you’re complimentarian, Pat? (Complimentarians think women shouldn’t be pastors; egalitarians think women can be pastors.)
@strong_sistas I recently saw a claim that you can get too much vitamin A/beta carotene from sources like sweet potatoes and carrots. Do you put any stock in that claim?
@NutriDetect I thoroughly enjoyed it! I just discovered your Twitter feed about 10 days ago and already making dietary changes based on your recommendations!
@LowOxCoach1@SBakerMD I loved this conversation! Thank you! I suspect that I have oxalate issues that are manifesting in my liver, not my kidneys. Lots of oxalate info focuses on kidneys, and rightly so, but I was so glad to hear you mention the liver!
