@delverslab When we search for a number, the UI prompt us with select list filters instead of toggle. Maybe something similar could be done when searching for "{X}" (with options being "Mana value=" and "Mana value contains") ๐ค
Hi, @delverslab
I love the flexibility of the search engine, but I can't seem to be able to search for cards with {X} somewhere in their mana value ; I can only search for exact mana values like {X}{U}{U}.
Do you have any tips?
@delverslab I tried searching "{X}" in the text, but the results are incomplete. Many times in the text, the X is just a letter, not an {X} pimp (e.g. Sigil of Destruction). Searching for the string "X" yields way too many unrelated results due to the case being ignored in the comparison.
Hi @delverslab
Currently looking at the content of the user.v2.dlens file with SQLite. In the `cards` table, what does the `card` column refer to? Is this a card ID on a third party API like Scryfall's? I tried it on some of their endpoints but only got a bunch of 404 responses
@delverslab@Tsawke59 Alrigth! I found the answer myself ๐
It means "foil-etched", right? Cards that are only partially foiled. Make sense, as I do had some like that in the booster.
@delverslab@Tsawke59 Does this have anything to do with the fact that the cards have a "*" after the number rather than a simple dot? I'm asking because I bought a Strixhaven collector booster and many of the cards where recognized as "e" cards by the app. It's a little bit confusing ๐
@Gimpygod@dhewlett@wizards_magic@CardCastleHQ@Pokemon I was thinking the same thing not so long ago, but except if WotC adds unique IDs to each and every card they print (to prevent easy abuse), I don't think that's going to be a thing any time soon, sadly.
