Stay classy sandiego 🙄🙄 #afl

A massive reception from the crowd as Isaac Heeney is named this year’s Bob Skilton Medallist. Not in attendance, Heeney shared an emotional video message, admitting "every single day away from the club was heartbreaking" and thanking the Swans family for their support. @AFL #AFL

if all my success hinged upon freebies handed out willy-nilly to my fake ass astroturfed cia plant of a "football" "club", i'd probably—at least publicly—try to cultivate an air of humility

Shall we play the siren that might cause our wounded opponent to get incredibly riled up? Yes? Oh sure press that button.

[Grant Cohn @grantcohn]

From now on, everyone gets one free sucker punch in the preliminary finals because the grand final is important. Call this the Lashay Rule.

when you're walking around melbourne in freo gear people treat you with the heavy-handed enthusiasm and kindness usually reserved for make-a-wish kids

[Barbara Ballside @BLT_86]

This is for my straights. I’ve been able to decipher that Lachlan Neil (cheating whore) is going to have a Sarah Klau and be free to play. #afl #lions

There is no better definition of White Entitlement than Ed Sheeran crying about losing money and friends while brown children in Gaza lose limbs and an entire future

[Justin Bonomo 🇵🇸 @JustinBonomo]

Both-sidesers like Ed Sheeran, the MSM, even Bernie Sanders begin most messages on Palestine by saying the conflict began Oct 7th.

In a *slightly* more just world, the preferred rhetoric would be "The conflict began in 1948 when Israel burned 531 villages to the ground, ethnically cleansed 750,000 Palestinians, and then declared independence on the newly stolen Palestinian land"

[Tadhg @TadhgHickey]

I thought the fathers in Gaza carrying bags of flesh they hope contain some of their children's remains were the victims here but actually no. It's Ed Fucking Sheeran.

Any word on the Australians abducted in international waters by Israel?

[Dan Coppel @dcoppel]

Silver Ferns drama has got me thinking:
A) about how people are so quick to complain about other governing bodies (NQ, NA) failing to take action in the face of player complaints; and
B) the Aus men’s cricket team, who were pilloried for comments about Justin Langer before

Very unexpected news coming out of NZ camp! Noeline Taurua has been stood down following "player boycott". With a big international season ahead it will be interesting to see how NZ adapts. #netballchaos https://t.co/xsAV4T9OvM

[Taz @tazpratz]

Not sure who else knows but the @audible_com original #PrideandPrejudice with Marisa Abela, Harris Dickinson and Bill Nighy is actually fantastic. One of the best adaptations yet! #JaneAusten #Audible

[Em @EmilyGreenaway7]

Guys, I heard Cath Cox is coming back because she’s sick of having to repetitively say ‘just turn and shoot’ that she may as well do it herself #SSNsignings

I just want to shout out to Sue Gaudion who called that game. You wouldn’t know she was the GM of the Fever last night, She would have been just as gutted over the result as the players and coaches but she handled the game and the ending like a true pro #FEVvVIX
