Goooooood morning, we did it everyone!!!! After a long 24-hour ride, Boon Lom is now living her best life at Elephant Nature Park where she’ll never be ridden or abused or in chains again!!! She’s had 3 babies taken from her and been in chains for 35+ years but NEVER AGAIN!!!

It’s been an emotional and exhausting week but thank you EVERYONE who donated/shared as together we rescued 2 abused elephants for my birthday and these are the best birthday presents I have EVER received!!

As always please retweet this and share this with your followers as rescues are great, but there are still thousands more elephants abused daily and we must make everyone aware to NEVER ride elephants as it’s that uneducated tourism money that funds this cycle of abuse and it needs to stop!!! TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN!

I am SO proud to announce that the first @karmagawa rescue elephant SomPond arrived safely at her new home at Elephant Nature Park here in #thailand after a looooooong 24 hour ride out of captivity!

My birthday is in 5 days and it was my bday wish to see her free -- now for the first time in 45 years without chains, SomPond explored her new barn before calmly enjoying the food Lek & her amazing team prepared to welcome her.

We gave Som Pond the space to rest and eat at her own pace—no rushing, no pressure, and no force of any kind anymore as a new chapter of her life has now begun...

I'll post more details about this INSANE week, sorry I'm so behind with everyone as the rescue was much more complex than I realized, but most importantly this beautiful elephant is free and will never be in chains or abused again!
