About to head out and see @HamiltonMusical in Norfolk, but first I wanted to give a huge shoutout and thank you to @ChrisisSingin for wishing me a happy 30th bday. This has been an emotional year to say the least and, Chris, you have no idea how much this means to us. Thank you!
@kclairerogers@GOLF_com When buying merch, buy a book bag. Then you can put all your merch in the book bag and not carry a bag around the whole course. They do let you go back to your car and 1 reentry so that’s an option but the book bag was a good play to avoid standing in line again
@ClintRLamb@JoshPateCFB
The disproportionate number of bye weeks is interesting. FWIW: Penn state had a bye before Ohio state (they both were on bye weeks) but that’s the only team this season Ohio st has to deal with under this scenario.
@JoshPateCFB thoughts on the 12 team playoff now that NIL created more talent dispersion among P4 teams?
When playoff expansion talks started people were saying “there’s 2 or 3 championship contenders, we don’t need 12”. Now it feels like there are 8-10 legitimate contenders.
@forevercrimson_ There’s some directive from executives to make this better for tv. Only explanation for how the style of calls has changed as the lead got over 14+
@CFBHeather How does divisions in a conference help? A 12-0 Clemson playing a 6-6 Georgia Tech in the ACC title game while a 10-2 and 9-3 team on the same side as Clemson sitting at home doesn’t put the best two against each other
@qb_country that’s his point. You don’t need a talking head to reiterate what computers would have put in the same order. The original idea of the committee was to go beyond the computers.
The argument should have been more about some of the P4 school with 0 top 25 wins than 3 SEC teams
@LjSanta@BrooksAustinBA I agree. I would argue that Carolina has a better resume than SMU does even with their 3 losses. Funny how the disagreements on this app the past 72 hours has been between 3 SEC teams and not some of these other P4 schools who are ranked higher with 0 top 25 wins.
