Ragen is probably the best American center back in the pool right now when distributing out of the back…
Pair him with someone who tears up ground next to him like a Miles Robinson and you have a pretty decent pairing 🤷♂️
🇺🇸 Seattle Sounders defender Jackson Ragen was not called into the USMNT March Camp despite having an incredible start to the 2026 MLS season.
Instead Tim Ream was called into the camp. This would have been Ragen’s last chance to join the team before the World Cup.
Thoughts?
@CardGameNomad It def applies to one piece too. I’ve tested it 😂
They just don’t really monitor so people can bring a friend, loop the line or sometimes just stand in self checkout and process multiple transactions
It’s also only a per SKU limit of 5
Kraft
Watson
Tom
Wyatt
Parsons
Just absolutely bullshit injury luck that you can’t do anything about.
Just the absolute nightmare scenario if that injury to Micah is as bad as it looked. Not overcomeable.
@ProspectsUsmnt Ya all that matters is the impression it leaves. Casual fans might only recognize Pulisic if anyone but a gritty pic with the bleeding nose makes you go, goddam that guy went hard
@Prof_Atikin The only hit is if you sell it to get your money back. I’m a sucker for a mystery power box but none of the “hit” packs have ever had hits 😂
@CardGameNomad I don’t mind going above MSRP, but GameStop could’ve done $150-170 and required a membership on launch day
Leaves less room for scalpers and rewards GameStop loyalists
Not perfect solution but better than this
@CardGameNomad Walmarts near me have been keeping tabs on ppl who walk down the TCG aisle. Hard part is every Walmart is completely different, like completelyyyyy
@ProspectsUsmnt Ragen. Unlikely imo, but CB depth is our most uncertain spot outside of Richards.
Ream has lost a step and it seems like he’s losing them now at a rapid pace
Ragen has been leading one of the top defenses in the league, left footed and loves to break lines
@usmntaut Mckennie at LCB? 👀
Is that too bold? He’s elite in the air. Good speed and strength, biggest question would be defensive discipline which is a big question but a back 3 of Mckennie-Richard’s-Freeman feels ideal
This is probably a fifa lineup I’d try to roll out 😂
I know pundits job is to overanalyze everything but when a coach is answering questions in his second language you need some perspective.
IMO poch is saying
1. Coaches need time to settle
2. Coaches have a responsibility but coaches can only do so much for the players
“It’s almost as if he’s taking credit for successes and good results when they come. But when bad results come, that’s not the coach’s responsibility?”
USMNT coach Mauricio Pochettino’s emotional rant yesterday had some people confused— like Shaka Hislop on ESPNFC.
“I take everyone’s point of the U.S. progressing and they have,” Hislop began.
“Pochettino wants to take credit for that and clearly he has.”
“But in one sentence, he says, ‘Me coming into the U.S. as a coach, I’ve changed the culture. I’ve changed mentality, and I’ve changed everything about the team.’ But then he says when other teams lose, we shouldn’t blame the coach.”
“So is the coach responsible or not? It’s almost as if he’s taking credit for successes and good results when they come. But when bad results come, that’s not the coach’s responsibility?”
Kasey Keller added sarcastically: “Shaka, you know that coaches win and players lose. It’s been like this all the time.”
Hislop then finished the point. “He managed to do that in one statement! He doesn’t even wait until the next window or the next game, he does that in the same statement on the back of one question.”
“I just find this a little confusing.”
