Weeks after receiving the Madlanga Commission’s second interim report, President Cyril Ramaphosa has yet to release the names of those referred for investigation or even a summary of the report.

The Presidency has offered no explanation for the delay, raising questions about transparency and accountability.

South Africans deserve to know what action is being taken on the Commission’s findings, while ensuring the integrity of any ongoing investigations is protected.

Context matters :

14 million South Africans go to bed hungry every day.

28 million people are dependent on social grants and highest grant is R2400.
