3. Include us in the decisions that shape this city
4. Protect what makes SA unique
It is time we stand up for our neighborhoods and build a city that actually works for the people who power it.

Our Manifesto just dropped.
It’s a message to City Hall: small businesses are not a side note—we are SA’s backbone, and we are done being ignored.
We’re calling for real fixes:
1. Stop mismanaging construction projects
2. Provide COVID relief for businesses still carrying debt
Hearing @JohnCourageD9 trusts the city manager with his life. Said during the @SAReport debate. But, would he trust them with his livelihood? @southtownsatx business owner watched S.Alamo be openedup after a botched patch job left the street closed for #finalfour#local@tbcpacsa
Local business owner frustrated, posting on the Facebook group about barricades, equipment being moved for this weekend’s @valeroalamobowl on their street that has been under construction for years downtown. Totally get it & also see opportunity…. Maybe @SAPublicWorks can 1/2
It is concerning to hear @SAPublicWorks director place blame on staff at businesses affected by their poor performance.
We look forward to helping craft solutions
San Antonio streets plagued by construction chaos, audit shows city lacks communication
https://t.co/kXH3doTq1r
Transparency and communication are two top issues local business owners have with our City and the Public Works Department, and this audit lacked both — leaving both the public and City Council in the dark.
We deserve a Public Works that works for the public.
Our message to the City of San Antonio is simple: We’re watching. The business community will no longer accept excuses or delays. San Antonio deserves better, and it’s time for the city to step up and deliver.
SA showed up BIG for our kickoff! We packed the house w/ operators, community members, 4 council members, a county commissioner, & local candidates lining up to join the conversation. We’re here to make CHANGE.
Jumping on trends late? Totally fine. But finishing public works projects late? Not so much. Join us tomorrow at Hola! from 6:30p-8:30p for our kickoff event. RSVP at https://t.co/2dxbuZuG64
Join us for the official launch of The Business Community PAC and help us drive real change in the city we love!

Let’s face it—construction is a major problem in San Antonio. 🚧
Small businesses are the backbone of our community, but we are facing closed streets, trashed sidewalks, and an uncertain future. TBC (The Business Community) is here to make sure our voices are heard!
The Business Community PAC’s mission is to amplify the voices of small business owners and community members, empowering them to influence city decisions and address issues that impact both residents and businesses.
