AZ cities apparently impact home prices across the entire globe. Shame on @AzCities for allowing this to happen. Or, maybe some local economists don't know what the hell they are talking about when they attribute all price increases to local policy. I guess it could be either.
📍@Tempegov "Nearly 120 unsheltered individuals and families received help at last week's Project Connect, a one-day event designed to assist those in need with life-changing resources.”

It’s curious the prime sponsors of the bill excluded their own communities from the new rules, choosing to disproportionately impact cities like Phoenix that have planned for growth and high-density development. I urge @GovernorHobbs to veto this bill. 2/2
We need more affordable housing in Arizona, but #HB2570 misses the mark. It doesn’t guarantee that starter homes would be affordable—and instead, increases profits for homebuilders and overlooks critical infrastructure and water needs. 1/2
WTF is going on with the housing legislation. Last year it was analyzed & a compromise bill was drafted. Why not start there? Both sides, builders & cities, had solid points. Quit relying solely on the developer lobbyists. Half can barely read & 3/4ths can't do 4th grade math.
📢@AzCities wishes you all a happy Opening Day of the #azleg session! Our team looks forward to a productive year representing the collective interests of Arizona's cities & towns before the legislature. We are excited about the opportunity to collaborate and identify solutions + policies that will make our state better! @GovernorHobbs delivers her State of the State address live @ 2:00👉🏼 https://t.co/txbbLWoZ79.
