How do we truly recognize this day? I was 18 on a naval base in training. My next few years were really fast deployed and abroad. I’ve seen history and know boys who did too who didn’t come home. My take away is to bless them and always to defend all y’all.

Took a week to disconnect and reconnect. Hiking to caves, camping in mountains, lake and river fishing hard, boat driving, swimming in every possible southern environment, and most importantly watching this dude keep growing into his awesome self. I’m refreshed.
