Minnesota is finding out what happens when immigration law actually gets enforced.

More than 500 Somali immigrants in Minnesota have gotten deportation orders this year. That's nearly ten times as many as in 2025. Temporary Protected Status was always supposed to be temporary, and now it's over. Faster court hearings are clearing the cases that sat untouched for years.

For decades Washington let "temporary" turn into permanent and called anyone who objected a bigot. Trump just followed the law as it was written.

Temporary means temporary. If a judge orders you removed, you go.
