As well as in his 2nd season De Vries came 4th and that’s after Albon, Norris and Russell, so imo he’s shown he’s way better than having Lawson in the AT seat.

They told Ricciardo to manage tires so he did, once they said he can go all out he got fastest lap of the race without DRS or a slipstream on hard tires. Lando was pushing when Daniel was conserving.

@SkySportsF1 Reading the hate people give to both drivers is just saddening, the amount of toxicity and hate, like what happened to just enjoying f1. Before people say he needs to learn how to drive or he’s too aggressive. Wether you like it or not they are two of the best drivers ever.

Merc and Ferrari were on par that year, it was a shame massa missed out on the title by 1 point. 7 years no title, look at the stats. 1 and a half years in Torro Rosso and the rest in a redbull that could never fully compete.

In Renault, he literally put them back on the podium but why should he have stayed for a team full with empty promises

Renault assured him a podium challenging car he got jack shit. So how does he deserve this ?
