For most of 2025, U.S. officials were discouraging Ukraine from hitting Russian oil infrastructure specifically because the strikes were contributing to global energy price increases that were politically uncomfortable domestically.

In October 2025, the Trump administration quietly approved expanded U.S. intelligence sharing with Ukraine for long-range deep strikes inside Russia, specifically targeting energy infrastructure and military-industrial sites.

There was no public announcement, no Rose Garden ceremony, and when the WSJ and Reuters reported it, Trump called the stories "FAKE NEWS."

Officials confirmed the policy shift privately.

Fast forward to March 2026: U.S. intelligence confirmed Russia was supplying Iran with satellite imagery and targeting data on American military assets in the Middle East (WaPo, CNN, Reuters).

That data supported Iranian attacks that killed and wounded Americans and inflicted billions of dollars in damage to U.S. military bases, radar systems, aircraft, and infrastructure across the region.

The green light is given...

April and May 2026: Ukraine begins a sustained and highly effective deep strike campaign against Russia:

• April 2026 alone: At least 14 refineries and terminals hit, plus multiple defense plants. Targets stretched from Crimea to the Urals (Perm, Orsk, Chelyabinsk).

•Tuapse Refinery struck four times in April. Key units damaged, dozens of storage tanks destroyed. The facility processes 12 million tons/year (4.4% of Russia’s total refining) and supplies fuel to Russian forces.

•April 29: Perm Linear Production Dispatch Station and Orsk refinery hit — major fires reported, including “oil rain” in Perm.

•May 2–3: Russia’s largest Baltic export terminal at Primorsk struck (NASA FIRMS fires confirmed), along with a Karakurt-class corvette, patrol boat, and shadow fleet tankers. Simultaneous hits on two more shadow fleet tankers at Novorossiysk.

•May 4–5: Over 600 drones and six FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles. Confirmed strikes on VNIIR-Progress in Cheboksary (key producer of guidance/navigation systems for Shaheds, Kalibrs, and Iskanders) and the Kirishi refinery (KINEF) in Leningrad Oblast.

The precision, depth, and success rate on heavily defended targets at that range are difficult to explain without an active, high-quality intelligence pipeline.

Russia provided targeting support later used in attacks that killed and wounded Americans.

Ukrainian long range strike volumes, accuracy and success rates increase dramatically.

The assassination of Ayatollah Khamenei is the single greatest strategic blunder in modern US history.

By killing him, the US and Israel didn’t just eliminate a leader; they fulfilled a 1,400-year-old prophecy and created a martyr whose shadow will haunt the West for decades.

Consider the symbolism: Iran has NEVER had a martyred Supreme Leader. Khomeini died of natural causes.

For the Leader of the Islamic Republic to be martyred by the "US/Israel" is 1000% on brand. It transforms a political office into a sacred, eternal cause.

The timing is catastrophic. Khamenei was killed in Ramadan, the same holy month as Imam Ali, the first Imam of Shiism and the "Epitome of Justice."

To millions, this isn't a "strike", it’s a divine parallel. He died as Ali died: at the hands of an assassin during the month of fasting.

He was killed with his family. In the Shia psyche, this immediately mirrors the Martyrdom of Husayn at Karbala.

The narrative of the "oppressed" (Mazlum) vs the "oppressor" (Zalim) is now fully activated. This isn't just an Iranian tragedy; it’s a global Shia rallying cry.

The blowback is already unprecedented. We are seeing something rare: Shia-Sunni unity.

From Karachi to Baghdad to Lucknow, Sunnis are joining Shias in the streets. By targeting a religious authority of this stature, the US has unified the Ummah against a common "tyrant."

Trump’s "kill everyone" doctrine, dictated by Netanyahu, has backfired. They thought they were decapitating a regime.

Instead, they’ve given the Islamic Republic its most powerful symbol of legitimacy since 1979. You cannot kill an idea, especially one now bathed in the blood of "martyrdom."

The West is celebrating a "tactical success" while sleepwalking into a strategic nightmare.

The US just traded a predictable adversary for an unpredictable, divinely-inspired global insurgency. This isn't the end; it's the beginning of a much darker chapter.

Ring paid somewhere between $8 and $10 million for a 30-second Super Bowl spot to tell 120 million viewers that their cameras now scan neighborhoods using AI.

The math is wild. Ring has roughly 20 million devices in American homes. Search Party is enabled by default. The opt-out rate on default settings in consumer tech is historically around 5%. So approximately 19 million cameras are now running AI pattern matching on anything that moves past your front door. Today the target is dogs. The same infrastructure already handles “Familiar Faces,” which builds biometric profiles of every person your camera sees, whether they know about it or not.

Ring settled with the FTC for $5.8 million after employees had unrestricted access to customers’ bedroom and bathroom footage for years. They’re now partnered with Flock Safety, which routes footage to local law enforcement. ICE has accessed Flock data through local police departments acting as intermediaries. Senator Markey’s investigation found Ring’s privacy protections only apply to device owners. If you’re a neighbor, a delivery driver, a passerby, you have no rights and no recourse.

This tells you everything about Amazon’s actual product. The customer paid for the camera. The customer pays the electricity. The customer pays the $3.99/month subscription. And Amazon gets a surveillance grid that would cost tens of billions to build from scratch, with an AI layer activated by default, and a law enforcement pipeline already connected.

They wrapped all of that in a lost puppy commercial because that’s the only version of this story anyone would willingly opt into.
