Well, well, well... let's address this straight up.
What does the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe about God and Christ? How does that compare to what ancient Christians believed?
This might surprise you!
All who live or ever have lived who come unto Christ and live His gospel will feel joy beyond any earthly expression as we reunite, resurrected, with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ and with our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and ancestors.
In the Book of Mormon, prophets baptize for the remission of sins 600 years BEFORE Christ. Critics called it an anachronism.
Then came the DEAD SEA SCROLLS (found 1947): the Jews at Qumran did exactly that — ritual washing in the wilderness, "preparing the way of the Lord," waiting for the Messiahs of Aaron and Israel.
Cleansing, in anticipation of a Christ who hadn't come yet.
Joseph put it in print in 1829. How?
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in more than 14,600 congregations around the United States discussed the importance of the Constitution and other foundational documents during Sunday services on May 31, 2025.
In a video shown on Sunday, President D. Todd Christofferson (@ChristoffDTodd) of the First Presidency, accompanied by Elder Quentin L. Cook (@CookQuentinL) of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, said, “We believe that the most important aspect of the Constitution is its role in promoting and protecting the individual moral agency of God’s children everywhere.”
Members of one small congregation (branch) of the Church in Tampa, Florida, shared what’s happening in their home countries, the freedoms that have been taken away, and how grateful they are for the religious liberties that now allow them to worship as they wish.
Dade City Branch President Steven Hatch said, “Whatever is going on in the world or whatever politics are happening, the Savior unites us. It’s up to us members of the Church and all American citizens to continue fighting for religious freedom for all.”

Did you know this factoid: Latter-day Saints are 2% of America. But they keep finishing FIRST in a LOT of stats:
- 69% at church every week (everyone else: 25%)
- 73% pray daily
- 72% volunteered last year — the only U.S. faith above 50%
- 89% pay a full 10% tithe
The same group a UCLA study found lives nearly a decade longer.
Smallest faith on the chart. First, on almost everything, you can't fake.
What do they know that the rest of us don't? :)

🚨 California Passed "The Stop Nick Shirley Act":
This week the California Assembly passed AB 2624. This bill will criminalize investigative journalism involving the immigrant population. It would have made it illegal to expose the Somali "Learing" center if it were in California or the Armenian hospice fraud in LA if they claimed "reasonable fear."
The bill protects "immigration support services providers," which means services provided to immigrants, including health care. It has been proven that millions, potentially billions, of dollars in fraud has taken place in "immigrant support services” which includes nonprofits and NGOs the state funds.
California is trying to make it harder to expose fraud and scare individuals from investigating it as they could be forced and sued to remove the video, forced to pay attorney fees, and ordered to pay a minimum of $4,000 in damages.
This bill was created by Mia Bonta (the attorney general's wife). She has made 4 separate versions of this bill because each version violates the 1st Amendment and is extremely unconstitutional.
Plain and simple, California politicians need the fraud to continue because they depend on the fraud to push their agendas. END ALL THE FRAUD.
His internet has been slow for 6 months. So, he paid Comcast to upgrade his tier.
Speeds got worse.
He called Comcast again. They blamed his router. He bought a new one. Still slow.
He called a third time. They sent a technician out. The tech ran a speed test from inside the modem and said:"Speeds are fine on our end. Must be your devices."
A neighbor who works in IT came over the next weekend with his laptop.
He looked at the router for two minutes, opened the admin panel, and pointed at four settings on the screen.
"Comcast pushed a firmware update last year. They enabled all four of these silently. This is why your internet is slow. This is why every Comcast customer's internet got slower around the same time."
Here's exactly what he found and turned off. 🧵
BREAKING: Largest Human Cancer Study of Ivermectin + Mebendazole Is Now PEER-REVIEWED and PUBLISHED in a MAJOR Cancer Journal
84.4% of cancer patients taking ivermectin + mebendazole for 6 months declared either CANCER DISAPPEARANCE, TUMOR REGRESSION, or CANCER STABILIZATION.
Our study, “Real-world Clinical Outcomes of Ivermectin and Mebendazole in Cancer Patients: Results from a Prospective Observational Cohort,” is now peer-reviewed and published in Anticancer Research—a major international oncology journal of the International Institute of Anticancer Research (IIAR), established in 1995.
The results represent one of the most compelling clinical signals ever documented for repurposed anti-parasitic therapies in oncology.
A diverse population of cancer patients (n=197) was prescribed compounded ivermectin–mebendazole through a U.S. telemedicine platform, with each capsule containing 25 mg ivermectin and 250 mg mebendazole.
Participants were followed for approximately six months using standardized digital surveys assessing cancer outcomes, medication adherence, and tolerability.
At approximately six months post-treatment initiation, we observed an 84.4% Clinical Benefit Ratio (CBR)—meaning more than four out of five patients reported either:
No evidence of disease (32.8%)
Tumor regression (15.6%)
or Cancer stabilization (36.1%)
Importantly, adherence was remarkably high, with 86.9% completing the initial prescription and 66.4% remaining on therapy at six months.
Side effects were predominantly mild and manageable, reported in 25.4% of patients (primarily gastrointestinal), with 93.6% of those experiencing side effects continuing treatment after minor dosing adjustments.
This groundbreaking peer-reviewed publication was made possible through a unique collaboration between The Wellness Company, the McCullough Foundation, and the Chairman of the President’s Cancer Panel—uniting real-world clinical data, frontline medical experience, and epidemiologic expertise to evaluate inexpensive, repurposed therapies with major translational potential.
With these extraordinarily promising results, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials are now required.
In the meantime, many cancer patients are exercising their right to try.

We look on life differently; we see way beyond this mortal life. Our trust is in our Heavenly Father and in His Son. Our challenge is to believe in Him and trust in Him, and to know that our choices in this life will follow us beyond the veil.
I shared this message while in New Zealand on a recent assignment.
What Jesus said to His disciples anciently still applies to us today: “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Matthew 16:24).
How did Joseph Smith concoct the most mathematically efficient monetary weights-and-measures system known to man — with a 3rd grade education, at the age of 23?
Or maybe… just maybe… the purported ancient origin of the Book of Mormon is true.
For 160 years, "Nahom" in the Book of Mormon was a name that didn't exist anywhere on Earth.
Joseph Smith dictated it in 1829 — the desert place where Ishmael was buried in 1 Nephi 16:34. The text uses the passive: "the place which was CALLED Nahom." Lehi (a prophet in the BofM) didn't name it. It was already there.
In 1988, German archaeologists excavating the Bar'an Temple at Marib in Yemen recovered three votive altars donated by men of the NHM tribe — dated to the 7th–6th centuries BC. Same name. Same century. Same region.
In Hebrew, NHM means "to comfort." In Arabic, NHM means "to mourn." Both meanings collapse onto the very moment a father-in-law was buried in the wilderness.
How could a 23-year-old farmboy in upstate New York have named an Arabian tribal burial ground in 1829 that wasn't excavated until 1988?
This was at my favorite sandwich shop in Greenville.
This is only the beginning.

What needs to change to stop this. It’s going to put the remaining few great small restaurants out of business.
🎓 It's graduation time! Hail to your Alma Mater –– Latin for "bounteous mother" –– clearly Alma is a female usage here.
Then why would Joseph Smith use Alma as a male name in the Book of Mormon? Well, if the source for his ancient tome is TRULY Semitic, then this makes TOTAL sense.
Is Joseph vindicated again?
NEW: Underwater IED detonated after it was found at an Alabama reservoir that is the sole drinking water source for about 350,000 people.
The bomb was reportedly discovered during routine maintenance.
Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS) Director Bud McCrory says the discovery is "an unprecedented threat" to the drinking water.
"We are fortunate that this device was discovered before it could cause serious damage to our water supply or harm to individuals," he said.
The bomb is being described as a "grenade-type IED" and was detonated with help from personnel with the FBI Bomb Squad.
MAWSS is currently investigating when and how the bomb got into the reservoir.
Wild.
Elder W. Mark Bassett, a General Authority Seventy and executive director of the Missionary Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has died at the age of 59. He suffered a traumatic brain injury while in St. George, Utah, with his family. He is remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and valiant disciple of Jesus Christ.

“Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection.
“And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.”

🚨Inside Communist-Controlled Cuba:
As Cuba faces its largest humanitarian crisis in years amid growing tensions with the US, I went to see what 60+ years of communism has done to a country.
Within 24 hours I was planning my escape out of the country after being followed by their intelligence agents, and a 2 star general waited to interrogate me outside my hotel room at 4 AM. Right now Cuba has no oil or gas, 7/10 people are going hungry, there is no medicine and some haven't even had eggs in a year.
In communism there is no freedom of speech or press, and I was almost taken hostage for asking about communism. This is a look into Cuba like never before, no one truly knows how bad it is until now.
