@CanucksWarRoom Might be best for Petey anyway now that egghead Allvin isn’t around to give extensions to every Swedish meatball under the sun. They’re getting bigger and Petey has always been a wimp so who knows
You're pretty much an idiot at this point if you don't realize how much of a one-sided situation they're trying to pull here. The one-sidedness against the consumer has been methodical and on clockwork.
The Playstation 5 operating system has begun systematically wiping and removing playtime hours from local profiles specifically for physical, disc-based games.
Disappointed players are framing the UI change as a highly aggressive psychological push by Sony to devalue physical ownership. By decoupling total time spent from a physical license, critics argue the publisher is subtly pushing the narrative that a borrowed, rented, or resold disc doesn't truly "belong" to the active player's permanent identity ecosystem.
Water is a birthright and NOT a commodity. Water belongs to the earth, to other species, and to future generations. No corporation has the right to control it.
@RockstarGames Me waiting another month after until the disc drops. No special edition options, no bonus content, probably no fold-up map, no cool poster or collectible, and likely still having to do a massive download before ever playing.
“This generation will not be defined by its great games or incredible tech, but rather by corporate greed, mismanagement, and anti-consumer practices.”
Nailed it
If Sony backtrack and reverse their decision to scrap physical games, this whole ordeal will still leave a very bad taste in a lot of gamers mouth.
No physical meant I was quite happy to skip the PS6. Even If Sony change their minds, i'll probably still skip it.
Fuck 'em.
Day 1 of posting an image of Nishino Hideaki ( Sony CEO) to spread awareness that he is a fat fuckin chud who wants to take away your ownership by halting the production of game discs.
Just to show you how scummy Sony is being with this news.
They anticipated their numbers would drop through people protesting/boycotting by canceling Ps Plus and pre-orders but they won't have to show their numbers to investors until the end of September.
Their next earnings call is July 31st however it only covers up to June 30th. They planned this out perfectly to drop it on July 1st for this very reason. The numbers dip early July, they have over 2 months to watch them HOPEFULLY recover as the deperate gamers crawl back and the investors see that Sony moving away from physical games didn't hurt anything.
Keep this is mind as we move forward. Sony is betting on you caving and crawling back to them in the coming weeks. Oh and so are the investors.
How I foresee my gaming future if nothing changes:
- No PS6
- No PS+
- Re discover PS4/5 titles from my physical collection
- Supporting Switch 2 physical
- PC for everything else
I couldn’t care less for PlayStation exclusives at this point. I will move on.
I’ve been a Playstation ride or die for decades. I’ve defended Sony and some of their past decisions in the “console wars”.
I was wrong. Sony is nothing but a greedy corporate monopoly that wants you to own nothing and still be happy.
Fuck Sony. After this I’m done 🖕🏽👋🏽✌🏽

The PS4 won the 8th-gen consoles wars almost entirely because Xbox shot itself in the face and Sony said "we're not doing any of that."
Listen to the crowd cheering at the simple idea that they will own the games and the consoles they buy with no caveats.
What happened, man...
Literally everyone is turning against Sony for rug pulling physical media. Who would have guessed that being anti-consumer would turn out to be a bad business decision? I don’t know who will win the console wars but I sure know who just lost.
