40 years ago on July 15, 1986, Christopher Abeyta was abducted from his crib in his family’s Colorado Springs. Today, Christopher is 40 years old. In 2025, NCMEC forensic artists released an age progressed image of what Christopher may look like at age 39.
Christopher’s family shares: “For nearly four decades, our family has worked tirelessly to keep Christopher’s story in the public eye. We hope this new image will reach someone who can help us find the truth about what happened to him, and, if he is alive, that someone will recognize him. We pray every day that one piece of information will come in that can finally give our family the answers we have been searching for all these years.”
If you have information about Christopher Abeyta’s disappearance or current whereabouts, please call NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or @cospringspolice at 719-444-7000.

🚨🗞️🚨 NEW: What did the delay in bringing the FBI into the Nancy Guthrie case cost investigators?
Potentially — more photo and video evidence due to the nature of how the FBI and Google were able to recover cached Nest doorbell footage even though Guthrie didn't have a cloud subscription and her physical device was taken, FBI Director Kash Patel has revealed.
The backend imagery was not slated for long-term storage and was on the verge of automatic deletion by the time the FBI became involved in the case, he told Fox News Digital.
A masked man appeared on Guthrie's Nest camera at least twice — once on the day of her Feb. 1 abduction, and once about three weeks earlier, Fox News Digital has reported previously.
There is only a single still image publicly available from the earlier visit — but experts say it's likely that video existed at one point.
If the FBI were involved sooner, they may have been able to recover additional evidence, which potentially may have included a suspect vehicle, more footage of the masked intruder or even additional imagery from a prior visit to Guthrie's home, Patel said.
"If this was recovered from a backend cache and it was almost deleted, that implies that another video was deleted because they would have been able to recover more than what they did," says Morgan Wright, an expert on digital forensic and the founder of the National Center for Open and Unsolved Cases. "Timing is always an issue."
Anyone with information on Guthrie's kidnapping is asked to dial 1-800-CALL-FBI or 520-88-CRIME to remain anonymous.
The combined sum of rewards in the case is more than $1.2 million.

New UFO-related files could be released by the Trump administration “every two weeks,” according to @RepEricBurlison. While conceding that information is being released slowly, Burlison calls last week’s first drop “historic.” @HenaDoba
