What Colour Should Healthy Urine Be?
Dr. Abassi's insights on drinking water for our health & explains why he believes urine should be clear & colourless, rather than pale yellow, challenging Aproko Doctor’s popular video, in which pale-yellow urine was described as healthier.
RCCG has brought robotic-assisted surgery to Nigeria with two surgical robots.
One will be used to treat patients, while the other will train Nigerian doctors.
They’re also setting up a Robotic Academy to build local expertise.
This is the kind of development we should be talking about more.
You know, the Americans destroyed our faith.
No one loves America more than I do, but when it comes to Christianity, we have allowed them to pollute our waters.
E. W. Kenyon.
Oral Roberts.
Kenneth Copeland.
Kenneth Hagin.
Most of the things that are wrong with our faith in Nigeria today can be traced, largely, to the influence of these men.
The Prosperity Gospel that popularized “sowing seeds” for financial returns, as well as the health-and-wealth doctrine;
the Word of Faith movement that emphasized positive confession, these ideas came largely through these popular American charismatic preachers.
What about the Hypergrace doctrine?
The idea that a believer no longer needs to confess their sins because all possible sins, past, present, and future, are already forgiven?
That stream was popularized by people like Steve McVey and Paul Ellis. Americans.
What am I saying?
I am saying that perhaps the American charismatic tradition is not always the best example for us when it comes to godly ministerial practice.
Interestingly, we had pure apostolic streams locally here.
Babalola. Moses Orimolade. And others.
They emphasized prayer, holiness, consecration, and disciplined Christian living.
That was part of the legacy they passed down, and it contributed to what many consider the golden age of Nigerian Christianity - a time when being a Christian actually meant something.
Now?
Not so much.
So, I am simply saying: perhaps the Americans are not the best examples for us.
Maybe we should look again at the apostles.
When the Corinthian church needed counsel concerning marriage, they wrote to Paul, and Paul taught them freely in return.
Perhaps that is a better template.
Pastor Adeboye's Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG has brought ROBOTIC SURGERY to Nigeria through Redeemer’s Health Village.
Two robotic surgery systems have been acquired—one for clinical procedures and another for training Nigerian medical professionals.
Specialties include:
• Urology
• General Surgery
• Gynaecology
• Colorectal
• Thoracic
• Hepatobiliary Surgery
RHV is also establishing a Robotic Academy, with training expected to begin in October.
According to RHV’s CEO, some procedures could cost about 5% of what patients may pay in the US or Europe.
It was a great joy to welcome my dear friend and fellow servant of God, Bishop David Oyedepo, to the Global Crusade with Kumuyi in Ota.
His presence brought great joy to the gathering, and we give God all the glory for the wonderful moment of fellowship. #GlobalCrusadeWithKumuyi #GCKInOta #BishopOyedepo #PastorKumuyi
I have seen the screenshots circulating about Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, where someone says they reached out to him during a difficult relationship situation and were told to pay for a consultation, and another mentions a $1,500 infidelity-recovery programme.
People are angry because, in their minds, “How can a pastor charge me before listening to me?”
But I think we need to separate pastoral ministry from professional counselling.
If someone is offering professional counselling as a trained counsellor, it is not strange for that service to have a fee. You are not necessarily paying for prayer. You are paying for professional time, training, expertise, structure and a service that has been developed over years.
Pastor Kingsley did not wake up one morning and decide to become a counsellor. He invested years in education and developed a professional niche.
Why should we expect him to give every professional service he offers for free simply because he is also a pastor?
We don't tell lawyers, doctors, accountants, therapists, coaches or consultants that because they are Christians, they should never charge for their expertise.
So why does becoming a pastor suddenly make someone's professional skills free?
However, there is an important distinction.
The Gospel is not a product.
Prayer should not be sold.
The grace of God should not be sold.
And nobody should be manipulated into paying money with the promise that God will answer their prayer.
But a professional service can have a legitimate fee.
And if someone cannot afford a particular programme, it is perfectly reasonable to look for another counsellor, another ministry, or another avenue of help.
You are not entitled to every service simply because the person providing it is a pastor.
At the same time, churches and Christian professionals should always maintain compassion. If someone is genuinely in crisis and cannot afford help, there should ideally be appropriate avenues for assistance.
But let's stop acting as though a pastor is forbidden from earning money from legitimate work.
Your pastor has bills.
Your pastor has a family.
Your pastor has employees.
Your pastor pays rent, electricity, transport and other expenses.
And sometimes, your pastor has spent years acquiring an education and developing skills that have nothing to do with standing behind a pulpit on Sunday.
Serving God does not mean becoming economically helpless.
The question should not simply be, “Why is he charging?”
The better questions are:
Is the service legitimate?
Is the pricing clearly communicated?
Is there transparency?
Are people being exploited or manipulated?
Is the Gospel being commercialised?
If the answer to those questions is satisfactory, then the mere fact that a pastor charges for a professional service should not be enough for us to condemn him.
Being a man of God does not mean he stops being a professional.
We need to stop demanding that pastors live in poverty to prove that they are genuine servants of God.
**Why is this not viral.** 🙌🏽
Pastors are no longer buying private jets. 👀😂

"When I got to America ehh, Akon called me to his office when we were shooting "Chop My Money" video, he said; "Guy, I don't want to tell you too many things here but, I have many deals for you, when you get to Nigeria, call me I'll book you a flight to come back to America.
