Kinda don’t get the complaint that Nolan’s movie are 'emotionless'. For me– it’s his clinical style that allows the emotions to seep through the cracks. Interstellar, Memento, and now Oppenheimer are all devastating precisely because of Nolan’s detachment 90% of the time
