Dear Parents,
Your child’s future boss isnt going to give them a raise simply for “showing up”.
They WILL however, reward them (or fire them), based on their work ethic, character, teamwork, and willingness/ability to get the job done!
Sincerely,
Coaches Who Truly Care
After 13 years of walking into this bldg & office, it’s time to say goodbye. I have loved my experience here & the people of Thayer Central schools; I leave with many great memories. Best wishes to TC always! This Twitter account is now going inactive, my new handle is @GoESU9 .
Little things that make a big difference:
•Take a walk each day.
•Get enough sleep.
•Start your day with gratitude.
•End your day with gratitude.
•Spend time with friends that uplift you.
• Read a book a month.
•Smile more
•Encourage at least one person a day.
Congrats to our 3 Thayer Central retirees: Diane Jacobson-39 yrs, Betty Meyer-27yrs, and Andy Long-11yrs @ Hebron and TC. Thanks for your dedicated service over the years and enjoy your new adventures! #TitanFamily
Proud of Maggie, visiting with NE rep Adrian Smith this morning as she represents NE at the National Poetry Out Loud contest. #TitanFAMILY, #NebraskaProud

Never stop being positive because of negative people.
Never stop being excellent because of average people.
Never stop being a believer because of the doubters.
And watch how your life starts changing...for the better.

"Finish each day & be done w/ it. You have done what you could. Some blunders & absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely & w/ too high a spirit to be encumbered w/ your old nonsense." ―Ralph Waldo Emerson
This is a fantastic article explaining Nebraska’s tax history and funding of K-12 education. If you’re unable to access the article, the thread here is a great take as well. Inform yourself. Become engaged. Contact your senator. #liveNASB#neleg
5 Things to Do Today:
1. Attack the day with positive, contagious enthusiasm.
2. Stay positive.
3. Be thankful.
4. Learn, improve and grow.
5. Bring out the best in others.
As educators, we are constantly modeling, are we setting good examples? Is it all just a show or is it truly INTEGRITY? Doing the right thing should be a habit, not an occasional performance.
