@AntonyBasta I got the Deep Blue 512gb. That is supposed to be the least popular color so I thought it would not have been an issue getting it on launch day. I bought mine outright and trading in my 14 Pro Max through Apple. Not sure if trade in has anything to do with it...

My only fear with this base-model MBP is I could see Apple somehow screwing the people with this version and somehow, the MacBook Air base-model next year is exactly the same as this but cheaper.

I am hoping that is not going to be the case but I could see it.

I also finally updated my MacBook Pro. I work from home now and this is the first time I am actually using my laptop on an every day basis and my old Intel version wasn't cutting it. I finally upgraded to an M-series version and it is amazing. I see the hype!

Between the battery life and the fan not ever running, it is a massive upgrade. My old MBP would just be idling with nothing opened at times and it would be scolding hot. Could have been a hardware problem but not my problem anymore! And this design is freaking amazing!

One big addition to my life is we rescued a puppy a few months back. Her name is Clementine and is some sort of hound mix. We have noticed she may have some herd breed in her since she has some herding tendencies. It was a lot for our older dog but she has gotten used to her.
