@CubCadet_USA He said it’s a ridiculously common problem that persists to this day with their current model lawn tractors. So, I need to pay out of pocket for repairs to a flawed designed machine that’s just probably going to catch fire again? My fiance is not comfortable with that.

@CubCadet_USA I’ve never had a lawn tractor catch on fire while using it before (or any other time for that matter). That is until today while mulching leaves on my fiancée’s Cub Cadet lawn tractor.

@CubCadet_USA I went to such a repair person who told me that those lawn tractors are all fireballs on wheels due to a design flaw. Said flaw being the heat shield for the muffler as it traps debris while mowing which in turn gets ignited by the very muffler it’s supposed to be shielding.

@CubCadet_USA Your rep. called me the following day and took down a lot of information just to say that he’d forward it to risk management. Then said I should have the mower looked at by a licensed Cub Cadet repair person and to pay for any repairs needed.
