A teacher’s words and actions can make or break a student’s success. Learn to use your words and actions to clearly communicate with your students. Can ✅Can’t❌ Statements ✅Questions ❌ Specific feedback ✅Generic feedback ❌ @toddbraun67
@MsAdamsin3rd@WK4KDZ We are the progression police at the beginning of the year. What do you need out at your spot every time??? Lots of praise for kids who have theirs out. #PSDRDG
A2: I think coaching conferences are the easiest for me. Specific and to the point is more my style. Research, compliment, teach are still the trickiest for me. #psdrdg
That is one of the drawbacks of having Ss give each other feedback for sure. I found through my research study that Ss giving each other feedback caused them to be more engaged in their reading goals. #PSDRDG
@tch4joy I read some research that said 80% of the feedback students give to eachother is incorrect. They need lots of good modeling to make it work! #PSDRDG
