I've been warning for months that DSA's extremism on Israel is feeding the antisemitic surge we're seeing worldwide. Now the DSA's own national co-chair, Megan Romer, took the mask off in a New Yorker interview with David Remnick. Listen to this 3 min clip and you will understand exactly why this movement is so dangerous and reckless.

Remnick asked if Israel has the right to defend itself. She would not say yes: "People, humans, peoples have the right to live in safety. Absolutely. But if that safety means doing genocide to somebody else, then NO, that's not defensible."

Pressed on whether she herself would have joined NYC congressional candidate Darializa Ayala-Chevallier at the rally on October 8th that many saw as celebrating the Hamas attack — one day after 1,200 Israelis were murdered and 200 hostages taken. Romer said yes. "I probably would have. Yeah, yeah. I don't live in New York City, so I wouldn't have." Only geography kept her away, not ideological support.

As for October 7 itself: "I think that October 7 was largely inevitable. If you put people in an open air concentration camp, and you deprive them of rights, of dignity, of food, of the ability to live in safety, you have to expect that they are going to not take that for that long." That is the DSA view: Gaza, a "concentration camp." The massacre, "inevitable."

Asked whether the Clinton-era Camp David proposal — which the Palestinians rejected — would have satisfied DSA, she couldn't answer: "I need to look at what the actual specifics there were. I don't know them off the top of my head." She doesn't know the history but she has the verdict anyway.

And DSA's actual endgame, in her own words: "Our position is a free Palestine with the capital in Jerusalem... that could be safely read as a one-state solution." Not two states. One state, with Jerusalem as its capital. No room for Israel.

This is not a fringe view. This is the national co-chair, on the record, explaining where the party pushing candidates into Congress and City Hall actually stands. It should be a wake up to Democratic Party leaders and to every voter.

I visited Seattle’s $165 million dollar downtown library and it was OVERRUN with drug addicts.

Not only is this library filled with adults who are high on drugs, but they also offer FREE fentanyl test strips, syringes and injectable narcan that anyone, including children, can access.

Visitors have complained of “foul odors”, unusable restrooms and harassment by the homeless and I experienced all of this while at this location.
