Learn to recognize who they are.

Instead of:

Or:

I feel disrespected → I explode.

It becomes:

I feel anxious.

I notice it.

I wait.

Then I decide what kind of person I want to be in this moment.

Regulation isn’t the absence of emotion. It’s creating a gap between the feeling and the action.
