@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid Too bad 😞 Yes I know, but it is lacking GPS, with that it would be perfect! When do you think you can release that? Also, what about USB internet sharing with iPhone?
@mikegapinski@mikegapinski This + the ability to install applications on @TeslaAndroid will make it standalone. I really can’t wait for this since CarPlay is making my phone very hot and slow. Do you think we can have a version running on a distant server instead of local Raspberry Pi?
@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid Yes I was following you, I was hopping that it would work fine with me too, but it is not usable at all…
I tried to put it as near as possible to the right mirror as you said in one of your previous tweets. No luck.
@TeslaAndroid My car has version 2022.28.2 with MCU 2, I clear browser data and rebooted the car multiple time, but it is still really too slow, while working perfectly on my phone and the iPad! What can I do to resolve the issue?
@bobbypanos@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid@mikegapinski if we disable the hotspot, and connect the rpi to router, is it possible to configure @TeslaAndroid to be able to work on the IP assigned by the router instead? When I tried with Ethernet it was blank!
@bobbypanos@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid I connecter the rpi to my home router using Ethernet. I’m still looking into solutions for connecting it in the car.
@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid I reinstalled the whole thing and updated AutoKit, and now everything is working! One question: I have a mobile wifi router (without ehternet), can I use it to connect @TeslaAndroid to Internet? I only see Hotspot wifi option.
@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid Since I don’t have a LTE modem yet, I plugged my raspberry pi to my box to get internet, now the screen is white. I checked all the cables and everything seems to be fine. Do you have any idea of what is happening ?
@mikegapinski Nice job @mikegapinski ! So I don’t have to buy the 2nd rpi then? It’s difficult nowadays to find one! I’m not in a hurry, I’ll need in 1 or 2 months.
@mikegapinski@TeslaAndroid Too bad! It has everything we need: LTE, Hotspot, more powerful CPU than Raspberry Pi, and a battery to avoid a shutdown when the vehicule is asleep.
