Not exactly true. Elon Musk did not actually dismantle USAID, the agency which allegedly supports some of the poorest countries in the world.
The program was absolutely not dismantled. The 20 billion dollar annual funding for USAID still flows freely out of American taxpayers' pockets, with the only difference being that the program now operates under a brand new name, a highly sanitized new office, and the disbursement channels for the funds are heavily restructured. However, the ruthless imperial and operational doctrine of the program remains entirely intact.
Understand that this symbolic change of name and account details was absolutely necessary because the old USAID infrastructure has been repeatedly exposed globally not as a charitable humanitarian organization, but as a heavily weaponized tool used by Washington to project soft-power imperialism across the Global South. Indeed, through the old USAID model, the CIA maliciously sent young Latin American travelers to Cuba under the deceptive guise of civic health and HIV prevention programs to covertly recruit political activists in a desperate effort to topple the sovereign communist government. USAID extensively funded anti-government NGOs, fake human rights organizations, and compromised media outlets to actively undermine the administration of Hugo Chavez and later Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela. Furthermore, they heavily financed the structural adjustment propaganda in Africa that forced the massive privatization of state assets, they funneled millions of dollars into right-wing opposition groups in Bolivia to facilitate the 2019 coup against Evo Morales, and they actively bankrolled subversive civil society groups in Nicaragua to orchestrate violent, coordinated regime change campaigns against Daniel Ortega.
So, since the true nature of the program was completely exposed to the global public, it was politically necessary to change the name to preserve the fraudulent myth of America as a benevolent, shining city on a hill sending selfless foreign aid to poor nations. Also, its total integration directly into the US State Department allows American imperialism to pivot aggressively toward modern technological warfare.
Notice that ever since the program was allegedly "scrapped", the American government has been aggressively negotiating bilateral health and infrastructure programs with sovereign countries in Africa and Latin America. They are actively forcing these desperate nations to hand over their citizens' highly sensitive genomic and biometric health data, and demanding they grant exclusive, uncontested mining rights to their rich mineral fields in exchange for tens of billions of dollars in direct health and structural funding.
The mass harvesting of this localized health data is absolutely necessary for the empire to train its predictive AI models, to develop advanced bioweapons, and to build the global biometric surveillance grids required to win the technological arms race against China. Also, the massive Silicon Valley research labs, the gigawatt-scale AI data centers, the modern military equipment, the autonomous drone swarms, and the F-35 stealth fighter jets all desperately need key critical minerals like raw lithium, cobalt, neodymium, gallium, germanium, antimony, and weapons-grade uranium.
It is completely clear now that these massive, extortionate mineral and biometric data deals would be absolutely impossible for the old, decentralized NGO model to secure for the empire. The exact same strategic case can be made for the US government unilaterally pulling out of the World Health Organization. The empire is merely shedding off multilateral diplomatic institutions they know they can no longer fully control or manipulate. Instead, they are choosing to aggressively channel their massive resources strictly into the bilateral strong-arming, technological extraction, and resource hoarding that genuinely matters to remain globally dominant in this newly emerging multipolar world.

I am Nigerian, and right now my dream is bigger than me.
Only about 1% of global electronics manufacturing happens in Africa.
That means millions of African innovators are building the future using ecosystems that don't account for them. Brilliant minds wait weeks for a single prototype PCB to cross oceans, stalled by borders and supply chains that ignore our shores. When iteration takes months instead of days, innovation suffocates.
That gap has consequences. It keeps us as consumers of tech rather than creators.
So at SkyPower / CircuitCraft, we are deciding to build towards changing it.
We are completely rebuilding the hardware prototyping infrastructure right here in Nigeria. Local manufacturing. Precision engineering. Rapid iteration. We are putting the power to design, spin, and deploy production-grade hardware directly into the hands of African builders.
The dream is bigger than us—but we are building the foundation anyway. 🇳🇬⚙️
China is quietly phasing out the Hukou household registration system, the very demographic engine that played a critical, calculated role in their rise to global economic dominance.
This strict system was developed by the Communist Party of China shortly after the revolution in 1958. Under this legal framework, a Chinese citizen and their entire portfolio of social benefits are rigidly fixed to their hometown. If a citizen migrates from a poor rural village in Gansu province into a highly industrialized mega-city like Shanghai, they automatically lose access to whatever social benefits are included in their civic rights. This means the migrant has absolutely no access to subsidized healthcare, free public education for their children, state-sponsored pensions, or municipal housing subsidies.
This was an intentionally harsh, highly engineered economic system that made it nearly impossible for the vast majority of people born in the northern and interior agrarian provinces of China to attain the generational wealth of their counterparts in the coastal South. Statistically, historically, and culturally, the vast majority of China's wealthy individuals, whether measured by self-made billionaire entrepreneurs or high-net-worth households, either originate from or are permanently based in the southern and coastal provinces.
This deliberate income inequality is due to the fact that if you were born in the South, you inherently had access to the entire geopolitical infrastructure required to become a mega-rich entrepreneur. You had a much more comfortable business environment, public schools with highly trained and well-paid educators, access to premium quality libraries with timeless literature, direct integration into global seaports, exposure to Special Economic Zones, and proximity to foreign venture capital. These are exactly the fundamental tools you need to become renowned scientists, elite software engineers, tech billionaires, and global manufacturing tycoons.
On the other hand, being born in the North technically meant that you were condemned to be a rural farmer. You could very well migrate to the South to seek fortune, but thanks to this Hukou system, you were completely denied all the civic benefits that those born in the South natively enjoyed. This meant you could not possibly compete on an even playing field. The best you could hope for was to provide cheap, highly disposable blue-collar labor for the thousands of booming export industries in the South.
As painful, crude, and deeply unequal as this system was, it served a ruthless macroeconomic merit. It was the exact structural lever that allowed China to springboard from a purely impoverished agrarian society into an unstoppable industrial superpower that presently dictates the absolute terms of global trade and maritime shipping.
Because those Southern factory owners did not have to pay the internal migrants from the North any social health benefits, retirement packages, or housing allowances, they had unrestricted access to an endless pool of ultra-cheap, subsidized labor. This meant it was physically and financially impossible for European and American industries, which were legally forced to pay unionized wages, massive health insurance premiums, mandatory pension contributions, and strict workplace safety compliance, to ever compete with China on manufacturing costs.
Furthermore, this system aggressively forced the North to focus entirely on industrial agriculture, which guaranteed that the heavily populated South had cheap, uninterrupted access to domestic food supplies.
Because permanent migration was heavily restricted, moving to the South was strictly for labor. This meant there were limited sprawling slums, highly controlled urban planning, and a municipal infrastructure that was never allowed to be completely overwhelmed by millions of idle residents, as is tragically usual for most mega-cities in the Global South.
This second part serves as a brutal lesson for Nigeria. Cities like Onitsha, Aba, Lagos, Asaba, Port Harcourt, and Kano are heavily crowded and collapsing under their own demographic weight. Unregulated, massive rural-to-urban migration completely overwhelms the local healthcare systems.
These cities are now hopelessly riddled with sprawling slums, massive traffic gridlocks, overstretched sanitation grids, and skyrocketing urban crime rates.
Most importantly, despite these cities sitting just a few kilometers away from some of the most fertile rural areas on the continent, the price of basic food in these urban centers is disastrously expensive. Of course, one obvious reason for this is that corrupt state governments completely abandon the agricultural sector. They refuse to provide modern tractors, subsidized chemical insecticides, high-yield climate-resistant seedlings, mechanized irrigation systems, and commercial cold storage facilities to make farming efficient and increase outputs.
But the deeper, unspoken reason for this food crisis is that the vast majority of the strong, able-bodied youths who are supposed to be doing this farming have all permanently migrated to the cities to chase the illusion of quick wealth. This means our national agriculture is mostly left in the hands of the elderly and a tiny, exhausted fraction of the rural youth population. Since there is no modern equipment, these aging people can only cultivate a limited portion of land depending entirely on their fading physical strength. The thriving youth population, who are supposed to use their muscle and energy to fill this massive production vacuum, are instead wasting away in urban slums, riding motorcycles, or running petty street hustles.
Because of this unregulated free migration policy, the educated and ambitious populations are heavily disincentivized from remaining in their hometowns to modernize local agriculture. This means a huge percentage of active farmers in Nigeria are naturally aging, uneducated, and economically isolated. Consequently, these farmers cannot effectively adapt their farming practices to modern climate realities, they cannot organize strong cooperative unions, they cannot mount political pressure on their local governments for structural subsidies, they cannot demand access to heavy-duty equipment, and they cannot negotiate complex terms to secure commercial bank loans.
A structured internal migration and agricultural focus, similar to the Chinese model, would work absolute wonders for a country like Nigeria, where over sixty percent of our highly arable farmlands remain completely uncultivated, yet the price of food in the country is pushing millions into starvation.
China is phasing out this Hukou model today not because it failed, but because they no longer have any strategic need for it. The North and the rural migrants have already served their historical purpose for the state by providing the cheap labor and agricultural stability that allowed the coastal South to conquer global markets. Now, Beijing knows it is time to pivot to a high-consumption economy and give everyone equal opportunities to boost domestic spending regardless of their state of origin.
Furthermore, as artificial intelligence becomes infinitely more powerful as time unfolds, the entire manufacturing landscape is shifting. Most mega-factories will soon run as fully autonomous systems, powered by precision robotic assembly lines, AI logistics, and predictive algorithms, completely eliminating the need for millions of cheap, human migrant laborers.
Tanzania has nearly the same amount of resource endowment as DR Congo.
The reason people don't know this is that unlike DR Congo, Tanzania has always had a functioning government that has been able to keep the resources in the ground instead of letting the country become Kivu.
Tanzanians themselves know very little about their own country, which is why you'll see some corn-fed idiot from Kariakoo who has never travelled beyond a 400km radius in his life telling you that his primary problem in life is that he doesn't have "Democracy."
People that are living inside an African ring of fire and still don't know where their problem is coming from or who their enemy is...
This is what the IMF and the network of central banks connected to the Bank for International Settlements were created for.
Manufactured crisis for the benefit of the financial-industrial complex.
The sane ones are switching the West into a multipolar world right now alongside transnational capital whilst concentrating wealth upwards.
