You’re blaming the wrong person, and the facts don’t support your narrative. The shooter wasn’t some random “American civilian.” He was an immigrant who overstayed his status and should not have been in the country at all. That alone destroys the claim that Trump is responsible.

This didn’t happen because Trump is in office.
It happened because the system that’s supposed to remove people who violate immigration laws was intentionally weakened for years. Politicians blocked ICE, ignored detainers, pushed sanctuary rules, and acted like deportation was immoral. When you dismantle enforcement, you get exactly this dangerous individuals slipping through the cracks and innocent Americans paying the price.
You can tag Trump with “scarlet letters” all you want, but the truth is simple:
If immigration laws had been followed and enforced, those National Guard members would still be alive.

This tragedy wasn’t caused by the president.
It was caused by a culture of looking the other way every time someone’s immigration status expires and pretending it doesn’t matter.
