So @Charlotte_Hunt_ is selling a fridge on Gumtree and immediately starts getting messages like this. The first one gets a bit of “no, we can discuss here” and they disappear. This one… gets a burner address to see how weird shit gets. What’s the angle? There’s always an angle…
@Darrellebower @ProfBillMcGuire That demonstrates exactly why we need policies that ensure new builds are, or can be, fitted with efficient heatings. Amazing how many new builds don't have solar by default
@NeilGarratt No knowledge of this case, but I believe there are regulatory reasons why banks can, and do, close accounts without warning or explanation (e.g. risk of money laundering or of potential criminal links, risk of being targeted by fraudsters, etc.)
@PsychedelicTony Only reason I pay big prices for new is to support specific artists, and only for a special package I consider worth that. No way I'm paying 40-50+ for a standard single (or even double) LP
Gutted I won't be at @alisongoldfrapp tonight on account of COVID round 2 😞 Have a disco banger from her latest instead of gig pics tomorrow 🪩🌈 https://t.co/5wwIyxN9kL
@BBCBreakfast I honestly don't think these are too hard (need to test a range of abilities). I think the problem is that kids are forced through graded reading schemes with mindnumbingly dull books that take the joy, interest and thought out of reading.
