Star Wars, The MCU, Doctor Who, DC, and so many other fanbases have really gotten so cranky about the content they're getting. It's not enough that all these things exist. They have to live up to impossible standards.
@AnimalianArt Didn't know that about Julia Strain! Great bit of trivia.
I maintain that some people are being a bit insane about what the character looks like in a show about teenaged mutated turtles who can talk and know martial arts. lol! This is her first appearance.

To all you April O'Neil "purists", this is the original design from Eastman and Laird, published in 1984. Check your fury about her current incarnation. You're risking coming off as a different kind of "ist".

@SevariusTheGood 100%! A true adaptation of the comics would be amazing. None of the colorful kid friendly stuff. Make it dark and weird and adult. Everyone thinks of the 90's cartoon or the 1st movie (which is honestly the closest to the comics), but I will always think of the Eastman and Laird.
@MrEliMac @StudioDemandsIt Excellent solution, Eli! I like this a lot! Jim gets his sadistic ending with blowing up the whole station. I get some hope with the mother and daughter escaping. Bravo!
@fionnegan1 @EliLizzieLizbet Late to the party, and plenty of great answers already.
Looking to the mother of all possession movies, in the Exorcist, here's the format Friedkin and Blatty used, and who are we to argue with them? Seriously, I wouldn't argue with them. They'll send a demon after us.
@McGarrMentions I tend to write to non-lyrical music for that very reason! There are only so many characters I can have tell people to, "Don't stop believing."
Listen @wbpictures, @hbomax, you folks spent $70 million to make a second version of the Justice League and released it on streaming. You can spend less than that to put Grant Gustin in the new @theflashmovie and have the box office return you want. #TheFlash#GrantGustin
