Our next meeting at Whitchurch Rugby Club is on 16/9 from 7-8.30 pm. We will be changing our usual cuppa and chat agenda as we have a guest speaker coming to talk us about their research which was presented at a recent Endocrine Surgeon conference in Geneva. All welcome.

Today marks the start of Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month.
Listen out for our advert on Bro Radio this month which hopefully will raise awareness to listeners and remind us all to check our necks for any unusual lumps and bumps.

Last week we attended an NHS Wales Thyroid Cancer Event. We had an information stand and gave a presentation to highlight our group to everyone attending. It was a great day meeting Thyroid Cancer Specialists made up of Surgeons, Radiologists, Endocrinologists & nurses.

Our next Cuppa and Chat get together is 20 March at 1900-2030. We'll be in Whitchurch Rugby and Social club.

Update from our group. A thread.

Did you know that 2024 marks 20 years of our group? After the loss of our beloved Cy we have been slowly working in the background to continue supporting anyone that makes contact with us on their Thyroid Cancer journey.

We continue to meet every 8 weeks and look for ways to improve patient care and fund research where we can. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas please let us know.

We would also like to thank everyone who has supported the group through fundraising. We are so grateful.
