Today we are launching The Pitch, an innovative competition aimed at increasing accessibility into advertising for young people with our partners @YourGamePlanUK . We are inviting students aged 14-19, to devise a media and creative concept for @JDSports and we'll be offering up to 100 work placements to those who have entered the competition. We've rallied together the media industry to get this in front of hundreds of thousands of school kids to ensure our industry is open for everyone. But this is just the start. International Summit (week 5) - theme: UNCRCs/Human Rights & Activism. Pupils participated in activities using the excellent @AmnestyUK resource ‘right up your street’ to facilitate discussions identifying where rights are enjoyed, denied and demanded.

International Summit (Week 4) - S2 were focusing on team building today. A huge thank you to @FVCollege for the loan of their STEM kit boxes. Pupils had to build wheelbarrows and wind turbines with no instructions and use a budget to buy materials to insulate a house @TheCSoA

Our AH Chemists had a great couple of lab days @FVCollege. They completed practicals on the determination of Manganese in a paper clip, synthesis & analysis of aspirin and dehydration of cyclohexanol. We really value all the wonderful support that FVC provide TCSoA Science 🙏🏻

@TheCSoA competed again today against 8 local schools in the annual @RSC_Scotland Top of the Bench Chemistry competition. A great experience which they all thoroughly enjoyed - results due next week 🤞🏻
