I don’t know who needs to hear this, but a country where people must prove their citizenship to masked strangers who refuse to identify themselves, and can be taken from work, school, or home because of how they look, is NOT a free country.
MAGIC MAN JERSEY GIVEAWAY: I am in a generous mood. If Esmerlyn Valdez goes deep today. I’ll give out 3 beautiful Pirates Valdez jerseys. If he hits a homer AND the Pirates win. I’ll give away 5 jerseys. All you have to do is 1) Follow me. And 2) Repost this. LETS GO BUCS!!!
Talking to independent physicians, it's obvious that the big insurance carriers are doing to them, what their PBMs are doing to independent pharmacies.
They deny, underpay, slow pay, clawback, and create administrative mazes, knowing their victims don't have the time or resources to fight.
Why ? By putting financial pressures on physicians and pharmacies, it makes them more likely to sell their businesses to them , close their doors, or refer the business to their captive pharmacy or provider. All benefitting the biggest insurance companies
We need to ditch the concept of "claims" and make every delivery of medications or care as a billable event that must, by law, be paid on a timely basis , with interest charges for any delays. If the physician or pharmacy doesn't deliver , the carrier has plenty of legal options already. As does the patient.
This is not an efficient market. This is the big guy abusing the little guy. It needs to change to better the care we get in this country
@RyanQualtrics I would bring my brother. He just lost out in a promotion that he really needed, and he works his tail off helping youth lacrosse grow in Davis County.
I actually have a lot in common with MAGA folks.
For example, we both left the Conservative movement because of Trump, but at least I am honest about it.
For my entire life it has been true that every time Republicans are in power, they increase deficit spending, and whenever they aren't in power, they complain about deficit spending and pinky swear they will reduce deficit spending if only you vote them back into power. And what do they use that spending for? Tax cuts for the rich, subsidies for big corporate donors, and wars in the Middle East.
If you voted Republicans into power again in the belief they would reduce the deficit and not go to war, sorry, but you were lied to and you fell for it, despite being able to learn from the past to avoid that.
Yes, you voted for all of this. You may not understand that you did, but you did. This is all just the newest variation of what we see every time the GOP gets handed the reigns of the economy.
Democrats need to stop playing this game and instead use deficit spending to make our lives better by focusing on our basic needs and our costs of living. Spend less on the military and more on healthcare and a basic income floor.
Also, to hell with the two party system. We need more choices. We need other parties to win via proportional representation.
@scottew@BradEBonham@BasedMikeLee SAVE Act requires government issued proof of citizenship. 45 states don’t doc. proof of citiz’n. on their driver’s licenses. Without that, you’re Polly going to need a passport or birth certificate (but must reflect the name you’re voting under, so no good for most married women)
@BradEBonham@BasedMikeLee You’re wrong, Brad. Only 5 states’ RealID licenses include designation of citizenship. Utah is not among them. An individual in Utah CANNOT use their driver’s license to register to vote if SAVE Act passes.
