Our new paper has been published! It explores the evolution of the unique swimming behavior of Amphiops mater (Hydrophilidae).
I'm excited to share our latest paper, which I had the pleasure of leading. We demonstrated that even without fossils, we can still reconstruct the ancient swimming mode based on integrative evidence. More importantly, the Amphiops beetles really have a funny swimming mode!
