Prayer is a teaching. It is not a skill, talent or gift. It is an art that should be learnt by heart, before the act.

Prayer failure is teaching failure, mostly.

The things of the Spirit, in all fronts and fonts of manifestations, are with men, in various measures, for the profit of men, especially in the household of the Faith.

Any measure of reluctance to honour such men from whom we receive knowledge is a symptom of non submissiveness to the authority of the word and the distribution of the Spirit, and chiefly, a sign of the presence of strife, pride, and competitive tendencies.
