Well, now it’s really official. After being blocked this morning, then unblocked (after being defended by Jimmy Wales), I have now, as of this evening, been “blocked indefinitely” from editing Wikipedia.
The charges are lies and misrepresentations.
More soon.
Prophetic?
Larry Sanger spoke to me about consensus being used as a means to crush dissenting views and 3 days later he gets banned from #Wikipedia by exactly that 'consensus'.

This situation just gets more and more interesting.
Jimmy Wales, despite blocking me here on X (I unblocked him some time ago, he could return the favor), actually defended me on Wikipedia. This might make him look good to you all, but not so much to a lot of the Wikipedia blob.
One of the most important insights to emerge from this SNAFU is that the one unforgivable sin on Wikipedia is criticizing the system. Forget any reform. The Wikipedia blob will have its way and then congratulate itself that it was following tHe RuLeS and standing on principle.
Oh my. And now the block has been overturned!
These people can’t figure out what to do, because I’m co-founder, like it or not.
Anyone else would be dead and buried for good, key melted down and turned into silverware. 🤣🤣🤣
I’ll be blocked at least for a time, anyway. That seems clear.
What this shows you is that Wikipedia is just a faceless mob, not an aggregation of independent, responsible individuals guided by rational rules and a well-thought-out procedure that equally applies to all.
I *told* you lot back in 2004 that Wikipedia desperately needs a proper community charter and rule of law. You ignored me then just as you ignored my Nine Theses last year—because you prefer mob rule.
Well, that’s that—I’ve been blocked by Wikipedia “indefinitely” for unstated reasons, by the “consensus” of a mob. There was no due process, no prosecutor, no dispassionate judge, no jury, no interpretation of law. All my judges were self-selected and hated me. 🤣
