If we’re serious about fighting corruption, we can’t stop at exciting the public with House arrests and headlines. People must be prosecuted and convicted so everyone learns the lesson. This habit of forgiving, only for them to fight us again later demoralizes every anti-corruption crusader. You can’t convict Nandutu over 300 iron sheets, then forgive the one who stole the entire economy. The law must apply equally big or small fish.
@mkainerugaba I rose from obscurity to where am because of my abilities not favours from anybody. Am self made. Being a Minister is not necessarily the best thing in life. My horizon is far beyond that. Let's serve Uganda. Cheers.
@rkabushenga@OfficialFUFA@rkabushenga eye for the vice president as you gain experience. I believe the current vice president Justus Mugisha would be in better position to hold the mantle.
In the last Financial Year both the budget Committee and Parliament rejected the proposal to give PACEID 37bn UgX, however, the Speaker of Parliament smuggled the figure back in the National Budget. That was the beginning of looting of taxpayers money.
I think the owl was hooting because of the corruption in Uganda. The Bachwezi are very angry because of that. All those involved in the Mabati saga should lose their jobs.
Tomorrow, the NONSENSE of certain people stealing our people's wealth because they are 'Connected' will cease forever! We shall rebuild our country and indeed rehabilitate it from the ravages of Corruption!
A speaker in a highly indebted country buys a Rolls Royce for her birthday at a total cost of ~ USD 900k, while debates are raging on how to fund healthcare in the same country. A country where a speaker can afford such a gift shouldn't be running around with a begging bowl to buy ARVs for its citizens
Meaning, the Speaker's new vehicle at Ugx 3.4Bn is worth more than the total amount of money ( Ugx 3.3Bn) which was allocated to 21 highlighted districts (apart from Apac) in the recent supplementary budget.
The irony, supplementary budget was passed by Speaker on May 5,2026 😭
Hello bro, thank you for drawing me but this should be the last time.
You’re very talented but I just want you to focus on drawing your family members instead..
Marking his 70th birthday from Luzira Upper Prison is yet another reminder of the immense personal sacrifice Dr. Kizza Besigye has had to endure in pursuit of a better country. God grant that he gets to see that free, liberated country in his lifetime🙏🏽
