i mean this with the upmost disrespect. if you are “pro-life” unfollow me right now. i don’t wanna be moots with you, i don’t wanna be your friend, nor do i even want to associate with you. i have absolutely no respect for y’all and never will.
and I dont blame artists who charge more bc commissions are often unreliable and wont ever get u a steady income. so if they then decide to charge £200, even £300 per commission with that in mind? they should be able to
art is so stigmatised as a career. if people can work for £10 an hour, an artist should as well. if that means charging £100 for a piece they spent 10 hours on? valid. not to mention the cost of tools and equipment, electricity bills for digital artists etc
Are we really at “eat the rich” because some artists charge $500+ for commissions? Like do you know how hard we have to work to make the equivalent of a basic office job salary?
hello girlies! theres more info on this on my tumblr and instagram, but to summarize my partner of 4 years was evicted from their home on the 5th June this year. They've been homeless before, and we scraped up enough money to afford an airbnb, but we still need help.
takes a second to flip the canvas, makes a huge difference and helps u spot errors in ur art. don't know why ppl r so violently against it when it's such a simple thing that can help u so much
@blankton_bt i really dont know 😭 like no one's making u flip the canvas if u really dont want to but like... it takes a second to do and can help u a lot? it has been a really valuable piece of advice for me tbh
