MARVEL JUST REVEALED TWO MYSTERIOUS "LATVERIAN WITCH" COSTUMES AT SDCC... AND THEORIES ARE ALREADY GOING WILD!

Marvel Studios officially showcased two "Latverian Witch" costumes at the Avengers: Doomsday display during San Diego Comic-Con. While Marvel hasn't revealed who these characters are, the designs immediately sparked speculation because of their similarities to Doctor Doom's aesthetic and Latverian symbolism.

The silver masks, medieval-inspired robes, armored gloves, and Doom-like emblems strongly suggest these characters are followers of Doctor Doom, possibly forming a mystical faction that serves him throughout the film.

This lines up with several long-running rumors claiming Doom won't fight alone. Instead, he'll command a powerful group of loyal followers from Latveria, combining advanced technology with dark magic.

Many fans believe these witches could be Multiversal variants of familiar MCU characters. The most popular theory points toward Scarlet Witch, since Doom and Wanda have a major history in Marvel Comics—particularly in Children's Crusade and Secret Wars (2015). Others have also speculated about Peggy Carter or entirely new original MCU characters, but none of these identities have been confirmed by Marvel Studios.

The costumes also resemble ideas from Secret Wars (2015), where God Emperor Doom rules Battleworld with powerful allies and enforcers, including Sheriff Strange and the Thor Corps. If Marvel is adapting elements of that storyline, these Latverian Witches could represent Doom's magical order responsible for protecting his empire.

Some rumors even suggest Doom's faction could include multiple enhanced followers with different abilities—including magic users and powerful variants—but these claims remain unverified.

At this point, the only confirmed information is that Marvel has revealed these Latverian Witch costumes as part of the Avengers: Doomsday display. Everything regarding Scarlet Witch, Peggy Carter, or other character identities is still speculation based on comic parallels and online rumors.

Breaking News: Russian President Vladimir Putin to Build First Russian Embassy in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria

The Russian Federation has announced plans to acquire more than six plots of land at Brass Junction in Aba, Abia State, for the construction of its first Russian Embassy in southeastern Nigeria.

In a statement attributed to the Russian government, the decision was made in recognition of the growing number of Igbo entrepreneurs and investors who travel to Russia for business, trade, education, and investment opportunities.

According to the statement, bringing a Russian diplomatic mission closer to the region will make visa processing, consular services, and business cooperation more accessible while strengthening economic and diplomatic ties between Russia and the people of southeastern Nigeria.
