To everyone - especially Megan Latham - who made a noise about child rapist James (Jimmy) Williams playing with Tyrendarra Football Netball Club, THANK YOU!
I.cannot believe it took a concerted effort by countless women and men to make this club understand platforming rapists is repugnant and dangerous.
Girls and women should never come second to a man's so-called redemption and sporting career!
Pauline Hanson came out today opposing minimum wage raises, and telling Sky News that us young people “don’t want to work”.
Personally, I think that’s really fucking bold of Pauline, when you remember she only shows up to vote 54% of the time…
@BrissyisaBella8@gomichild I’m not able to regulate my body temperature in the heat, but yeah it is nuts. When we had the government assistance it would cover the shortfall.
Let’s put that into perspective:
Pauline Hanson received a pay rise worth around $100,000 a year a 42.5% increase while reportedly attending only 53% of Senate votes.
At the same time, she opposed a pay rise of around $3,000 for some of Australia’s lowest-paid workers.
A six-figure increase for politicians, but objections when working Australians get a modest boost to help with rising costs.
Where’s the media outrage? Where’s the scrutiny?

Port Adelaide will don its iconic 'Prison Bar' guernsey later this month, with the Power saying it "will honour the legendary 1914 'Invincibles', an undefeated South Australian Football League team, in Showdown LX" in round 16.
"The Prison Bar guernsey has been the fabric of the Port Adelaide Football Club since 1902," Port Adelaide chief executive Matthew Richardson said.
"It's not just a guernsey. It represents the players who shaped Port Adelaide's history and, just as importantly, a community built on hard work and resilience, the people who gave this club its identity."
"We wear this guernsey with enormous pride and a deep sense of responsibility. It represents the standards this club was built on and the standards we continue to hold ourselves to."
The club guernsey was originally inspired by pylons at the Port River wharves.
