A preview: after 12 hours in LHR my flight was canceled. @British_Airways sent me to @Gatwick_Airport. It was $250 each way.

If anyone is keeping track: I filed my canceled flight, redirected flight to Glasgow (not Edinburgh) and the clothes we had to buy because all luggage was lost for our whole trip.

10 days in Scotland and @British_Airways has done the following: got me to the wrong city 24 hours later than the original flight, put me in a hotel 40 miles and $200 away (1 way), lost both bags, and now has canceled our premium seats for economy on the return flight to SFO.
